Champion Grant Open House

Community Bank is proud to have awarded the Champion Grant to 11 organizations throughout 2012. Organizations that received our Champion Grant used it for projects such as financial literacy training, job readiness instruction, food assistance programs, and community development.  We were extremely happy to see so many success stories attributed to the grant, and as a result we are proud to announce that the Champion Grant will again be available throughout 2013.

Community Bank is hosting an informative open house for nonprofits to learn more about the Champion Grant.  Details are as follows:

Champion Grant Open House
Wednesday, March 6
5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m.

Join us at Community Bank of Oak Park River Forest
1001 Lake Street, Oak Park, located at the corner of Lake and Forest

Past recipients will be on hand to talk about how they used the Champion Grant and to tell their story.  Community Bank staff will also be in attendance to accept applications, or to answer any questions you may have about the application process.

Remember, the purpose of the Champion Grant is to provide financial literacy training, job placement and community development in low and moderate income areas, or to organizations serving low and moderate income individuals.  Applications must be submitted by July 1, 2013.

Please feel free to bring friends and associates who may also be interested in learning more about the Champion Grant.  Light snacks and drinks will be served.  If you plan to attend, please give us a call at (708) 660-7031, or email frankf@cboprf.com.
