Community Bank of Oak Park River Forest celebrates 20th anniversary with two new locations and expanded mortgage services.
Local financial institution will soon feature new locations in Oak Park and River Forest.
Oak Park, IL – April 12, 2017 – It’s a time of celebration for Community Bank of Oak Park River Forest, where three important milestones are being recognized. Established in 1996, the bank is marking its twentieth anniversary. In addition, it is expanding its line of mortgage services and opening two new branches in the local market.
To accommodate rapid growth and the needs of a broader customer base, the bank has been seeking appropriate spaces for expansion for approximately some time. The new locations at 810 S. Oak Park Avenue in Oak Park, and 7751 Lake Street in River Forest, will make banking more convenient for customers living in those neighborhoods and enhance the bank’s brand recognition throughout the communities it serves.
Community Bank President and CEO Walter Healy expressed his excitement about the new locations. “We have been looking for the right building at the right location for a long time. Our customers told us they wanted a branch in south Oak Park, and we’re delighted to meet their requests as well as to have the opportunity to serve new consumer and business customers who would prefer to bank with us closer to where they live and work.”
The expanded mortgage services are an important step in the growth of the bank as well, because they will allow the Community Bank team to welcome an even greater number of neighbors into their ever-widening circle of clients seeking the resources to buy homes, start businesses, or make further investments in existing enterprises. The new services include VA loans, FHA loans, and the bank’s participation in special grant programs.
To celebrate the bank’s twentieth anniversary, a number of festivities have been planned, including live events at the flagship location in Oak Park, and a new website will be launched featuring improved navigation as well as a catchy theme. Further efforts include a memorable advertising campaign that will appear in local newspapers and other media to keep local residents informed of the bank’s plans and activities.
