COMMUNITY:

It’s a history of partnership

Why we’re growing. We build on our history to better your future.

As a locally owned bank that creates financial solutions for individuals, businesses, and nonprofits, Community Bank may appear similar to others. What sets us apart? We deliver the convenient services of a larger bank in a personal, friendly style that lets you know you’re our top priority. We address you by name. We care about your family, your enterprise, and your well-being. And we do all we can to help you nurture and protect them.

Our personable approach stems from our founding. We began in 1996 with exactly 10 employees. Assets of $5 million. And a customer base of fewer than 24 accounts. We had to be pretty humble. By hiring down-to-earth people, we’ve managed to stay that >

We love working with individuals, families, businesses, and nonprofits. Considering our growth, the feeling must be mutual.

Today’s Community Bank has a workforce of 80 strong. More than $300 million in assets. And 15,000 customer accounts. Our client base now spans the nation and the world. We’ve lent approximately $800 million to more than 4,000 homeowners. Helped to put more than 1,500 families into homes with purchase-money loans, as well as 2,500 refinances. And reached out to our neighbors with financial assistance and volunteerism in our local communities and others.

We’re proud of our history of partnership with our friends throughout Oak Park, River Forest, and beyond. And we’re building upon our past success to provide even better service to you. While other banks are closing branch locations, we have added two of them. Visit us at our original location in downtown Oak Park, or one of our two new branches in River Forest and south Oak Park. And let’s see how we can grow together as we move into the future.
